Data Trustee: Common Questions
[email protected]. Have a question about Data Trustee, the investor reporting management service by High Impact? If you don't find the information you are looking for below, feel free to reach out to us directly at
My investors want more than just the basic reports. Can Data Trustee handle unique requests from multiple investors?
Absolutely. Data Trustee is a service, not software, and that choice is very intentional. We automate processes where possible, but by being dedicated to personal contact with your data we can customize your reports and pull as many data points as required. As long as you can provide the raw data needed to complete the requested reports, we will manage all of your data-based reporting needs.
Our funders want to hear the story of our loans. Can you fulfill narrative-style reporting requirements?
Data Trustee offers narrative reports through a talented partner that is experienced in telling the story of CDFIs. While this is the only aspect of Data Trustee that carries additional fees, it is well worth the impression you will make.
My CDFI has grant reporting requirements, too. Will those be covered by Data Trustee?
Yes, Data Trustee can prepare reports for any of your capital providers, whether they fund you through equity, debt, or grants.
Does Data Trustee manage reporting that must be submitted through CIIS or other online portals?
Data Trustee can prepare reports for you based on data requests, but we cannot submit reports on your behalf through the CDFI Fund's CIIS platform or other online submission portals at this time.
What if an investor requests a new report in the middle of a quarter?
As long as you provide the necessary raw data, Data Trustee satisfies any investor request at any time throughout the year at no additional cost.
