Leah Fremouw leads VCC’s Community Innovation team and its programs as Director of Community Innovation. In this role, she partners with businesses and nonprofits in a variety of industries and growth stages to support their movement to the next level. Prior to this role, Leah led talent management and cultural initiatives for CarLotz, a fast-growing Richmond business, served as an organizational development consultant with the Performance Management Group at Virginia Commonwealth University, and worked in the city’s public housing communities. She holds a BA in Political Science and Government as well as a MPA from the Virginia Commonwealth University.

Andrea Longton is the Founder and Author-Administrator at The Social Justice Investor™ (www.thesocialjusticeinvestor.com), an online platform to share inspiration and resources to people interested in applying a social justice lens to their investment portfolio. Andrea has professional experience leading numerous community development financing and investment initiatives at Freddie Mac, Capital Impact Partners, and Delphos International. During her tenure at Capital Impact Partners, Andrea was responsible for establishing and expanding the organization’s Bond Guarantee Program capacity, launching the Capital Impact Investment Notes, and managing the CDFI’s investment portfolio. Andrea holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute and is a member of the CFA Society of Washington, DC. She holds a BA in International Studies and German Studies from Centre College and an MA in International Trade and Investment Policy from The George Washington University.
