For the past 16 years, Erika has worked in a variety of capacities in the commercial real estate industry including finance, asset management, and community economic development. Her work has spanned affordable housing, senior housing, mixed-use, retail, office, hospitality, and industrial projects in 48 states and Puerto Rico. She has a specialty in public/private partnerships and is experienced in complex financial structures including new markets tax credits, low income housing tax credits, historic tax credits, and tax increment financing. Before joining High Impact in 2018, Erika held positions including Interim Executive Director of a community development corporation, Manager of National Real Estate Programs for NeighborWorks America, and Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer at US Bank. Erika serves on the boards of the Kansas City Public Employees Retirement System and Nile Valley Aquaponics, and on the advisory board of Alt-Cap, a CDFI and new markets tax credit allocatee. She holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from Howard University.
